Adam B & Tom GoldenFriends since school Adam B & Tom Golden have always shared a healthy interest in good music, especially good electronic music. Early influences include the Prodigy & The Chemical Brothers who were both setting the scene alight back in 1997, the year the boys became interested in DJing.

Since then they have spun at many of the UKs best clubs including Sankeys Soap, Turnmills, The Masque, The Music Box and supported some of the best underground DJs including Tom Stephan, Phil Weeks, Joey Youngman, Audio Bullys, Yousef, Kenny Hawkes, Lottie, Paul Woolford, Ralph Lawson, James Zabelia, DJ Heather, Jacob London, & John Larner. As well as hosting their 'Homegrown Sessions' night at various back rooms across the country, the highlight of which was doing it monthly at the Bomb in Nottingham over the summer of 2004. As well as tearing up the UK the lads have also ventured across the seas to play in France, Belgium, Montenegro, Spain and regulary play in Croatia where they both hold a residency at the Zagreb Film Festival (every October), they can also be found playing at various venues and island of the Dubrovnik region of Croatia during the Summer months. Add to this both of them picking up IDJ mag's Top Tape award and Adam winning Muzik Mags highly acclaimed 'Bedroom Bedlam' award.

They set up www.homegrown-music.com back in 2001 as an online home to promote themselves (alongside Nathan Landry) and their DJing. Soon enough they were putting up hotmixes from various DJs each and every month and since then the site has grown immensily and features an extensive back catalogue of mixes from various DJs spanning right across the 'dance' spectrum.

The lads have also had a couple of EP's released, firstly their debut 'Homegrown Headz' on Lost My Dog records which was played the world over by DJs such as, DJ Heather, Joenne, Greg Vickers, Tyler Stadius, Jay West, Harold Heath and Jay Tripwire to name a few. It also received excellent reviews in I-DJ & DJ Magazine. They followed this up with the amusingly titled 'Honey I've Lost My Panties' EP on Southside Shuffle, which also gained excellent magazine reviews.

Homegrown Radio started in January 2005 and since then Adam and Tom have produced a varied and exciting weekly radio show, showcasing the deep house sound they play out as well as various other genres: hip hop, broken beat, downtempo, breaks, rock and much more. Guestmixes on the show have come from the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Greg Vickers, Nigel Richards, Mylo, Groove Junkies, Luke Mckeehan and Justin Martin to name a few. January 2007 sees the launch of a dedicated website for the radio show, where each weeks shows and guestmixes can be listen to, downloaded and podcast on demand, as well as featuring info on each weeks featured artist and full tracklists. The show is still broadcast each week on pulseradio.net every Monday at 2100 gmt.
